LALFIX LIQUID SOYBEAN
A nitrogen-fixing bacterium selected for its superior ability to form symbiotic nodules on soybean roots and enhance crop performance.
Product details
LALFIX® LIQUID Soybean contains Bradyrhizobium elkanii selected for enhanced performance and competitiveness in soybean production. This species is known to nodulate soybean roots and fix atmospheric nitrogen in a symbiotic relationship with the plant.
Key benefits
- High quality inoculant with 1 x 1010 viable Bradyrhizobium elkanii cells per ml. Bradyrhizobium elkanii is a new species in the marketplace for early and aggressive nodulation as well as
balanced performance in a range of environments. - For soybean growers focusing on the benefits of strong nitrogen fixation – ultimately leading to enhanced nodulation, early vigor and higher soybean yields.
In-Furrow
- Applied in-furrow delivering a large quantity of Bradyrhizobium elkanii directly to the soil. The use rate for in-furrow application is listed below.
- Can be used to double-inoculate first-year soybeans and soybeans seeded into fields with a lower carryover of background rhizobia.
- To increase the rhizobia available to the crop, apply LALFIX LIQUID Soybean with an in-furrow granule or liquid inoculant such as LALFIX® PROYIELD LIQUID Soybean or LALFIX® PEAT Soybean (use maximum in-furrow application rate if this is the sole form of inoculation).
On- Seed
- Applied on-seed delivering a large quantity of Bradyrhizobium elkanii directly to the root zone. The use rate for on seed application is 44.5 ml per 45.4kg of seed.
- The addition of 30 – 44.5 ml of clean water per 45.4 kg. of seed can be added to increase liquid application volume if desired, for increased seed coverage when applying LALFIX LIQUID Soybean alone.
- In fields with no recent history of soybean production (less than 3 years), increasing the application rate of LALFIX LIQUID Soybean or adding an application of LALFIX PEAT Soybean is recommended. Consult your agricultural inputs supplier for recommendations specific to your farm.
