Product details

BioCeres® G WP is a contact microbial bioinsecticide, containing lives spores of a naturally occurring fungus in the soil. The spores adhere to the insects cuticle (skin) causing a fungal infection that leads to their death within 3-7days. Under favorable environmental conditions, the fungus can produce outgrowth (mycosis) and release spores that can infect other insects.

BioCeres G WP is a good fit in IPM programs and is best used in prevention or at first signs of targeted pest activity.

Crop-specific benefits

  • For reduction in number of whiteflies, aphids,thrips, Colorado Potato beetles, and lygus bugs.

  • For use on greenhouse vegetables (including transplants), herbs and spices, Asian water spinach, greenhouse strawberries, greenhouse caneberries and greenhouse ornamentals.

  • Consult label for a complete list of crops.

  • Foliar application: 2-4 g/L in enough water to ensure good coverage of treated foliage.

  • Use the higher rate for treatments targeting Colorado potato beetles.

  • Low-volume mist (LVM): Apply at a rate equivalent to the area coverage of high-volume foliar spray (1-4 kg/ha).

  • Cutting dips: Use a concentration of 2 to 4 g/L. Immerse cuttings in the dip suspension for 5 seconds.

  • For reduction in number of whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and rice root aphids.

  • For use on cannabis grown indoors.

  • Foliar application: 2-4 g/L in enough water to ensure good coverage of treated foliage.
  • Do not apply past the vegetative stage.

  • Low-volume mist (LVM): Apply at rate equivalent to area coverage of high-volume foliar spray (1-4 kg/ha).

  • Soil application targeting root aphids: Apply as a drench treatment on the root zone using a concentration of 4 to 8 g/L.

  • Cutting dips: Use a concentration of 2 to 4 g/L. Immerse cuttings in the dip suspension for 5seconds.
