Product details

BioTitan® GR is a contact microbial bioinsecticide, containing lives spores of a naturally occurring fungus in the soil. The spores adhere to insect cuticle (skin) and cause a fungal infection that leads to their death within 3-7days. Under favorable environmental conditions, the fungus can produce outgrowth (mycosis) and release spores that can infect other insects.

BioTitan GR is a good fit in IPM programs and is best used in prevention or at first signs of targeted pest activity. The product is compatible with granule spreading equipment.

Crop-specific benefits

  • For reduction in number of chinch bugs and white grubs (larvae of European Chafer and Japanese Beetle).

  • For use on turf, including vineyard turf

  • Ground application: Spread uniformly 1 to 2 kg of BioTitan GR per 100 square meters.

  • A 10 kg bag is sufficient to treat 500 to 1,000 square meters of area.
