Product details

BioTitan® WP is a contact microbial bioinsecticide, containing lives spores of a naturally occurring fungus in the soil. The spores adhere to insect cuticle (skin) and cause a fungal infection that leads to their death within 3-7 days. Under favorable environmental conditions, the fungus can produce outgrowth (mycosis) and release spores that can infect other insects.

BioTitan WP is a good fit in IPM programs and is best used in prevention or at first signs of targeted pest activity.

Crop-specific benefits

  • For reduction in number of Colorado potato beetles, tarnished plant bug, whiteflies, thrips, spotted lanternfly and aphids.

  • For use on potato, tomato, bell pepper and eggplant, spinach, Chinese cabbage, lettuce, celery, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, outdoor ornamentals, sweet corn, peas and grapes.

  • Foliar application: 1.8 - 3.6 lb/ac (2-4 kg/ha) in enough water to ensure good coverage of treated foliage.

  • For sprays targeting spotted lanternfly: 8 g/L.
  • For reduction in number of chinch bugs and white grubs (larvae of European Chafer and Japanese Beetle).

  • For use on turf.

  • Foliar application: 40-80 g/100 m2 in enough water to ensure good coverage of treated area.
